Port d'Alcúdia sits on the north-east coast of Mallorca, with 70 superyacht berths in the modern marina basin opposite the medieval walled town of Alcúdia (one of the most preserved medieval town walls of the Balearics). The Bay of Alcúdia is the largest natural bay of Mallorca, with the Cap de Formentor peninsula immediately north — the dramatic limestone cliff that is one of Mallorca's most iconic coastal landscapes — and the long sandy beach running south.
The pantry is northern Mallorcan. Oli de Mallorca DOP olive oil from the inland plain and Tramuntana terraces. Sobrasada de Mallorca IGP. Pla i Llevant DO reds (Manto Negro, Callet) from the eastern inland — the appellation includes the Alcúdia hinterland. Mallorcan specialties: pa amb oli, tumbet, frit mallorquí, ensaïmada. Albufera de Mallorca wetland produce — the wetland behind the bay (a natural park) supplies wild duck, eel and freshwater fish. Fresh fish from Alcúdia's working fishing fleet. Specialty providers handle the family-resort scale of the bay alongside the megayacht traffic.
Yachting season runs May through October with sharp peaks summer. Alcúdia suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning, with tender delivery to Cap de Formentor anchorages and the Mallorca north coast bays.
