Port de Sóller sits on the north-west Tramuntana coast of Mallorca, with 45 superyacht berths in the small natural harbour beneath the spectacular limestone amphitheatre of the Tramuntana mountains. The bay is one of the most photographed of Mallorca — a perfect natural circle protected on three sides by the mountains, with the historic Sóller wooden tram connecting the port to the town inland (5 km). The Sóller valley behind is one of Mallorca's most distinctive agricultural zones, famous for its citrus.
The Sóller pantry is built around the valley's citrus tradition. Sóller orange — distinctive, intensely sweet, used in marmalade, citrus liqueur and patisserie across Mallorca. Sóller lemon. Olive oil from the Tramuntana terraces (some of Europe's steepest). Sobrasada de Mallorca IGP. Binissalem DO and Pla i Llevant DO wines. Mallorcan specialties: pa amb oli, tumbet, frit mallorquí, ensaïmada. The Sóller mountain honey from the Tramuntana herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage, lavender). Wild mushrooms from the inland forests in autumn. Fresh fish from local boats. Specialty providers handle the small-village restaurant economy alongside the seasonal yacht traffic.
Yachting season runs May through October. Sóller suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning, with tender delivery to Sa Calobra and Sa Foradada anchorages (two of Mallorca's most iconic Tramuntana coastal features).
