Puerto de San Antonio (Sant Antoni de Portmany) sits on the west coast of Ibiza, with 60 superyacht berths in the modern marina basin of one of the most iconic Mediterranean sunset destinations. The town faces the Bay of Sant Antoni with the famous offshore Es Vedrà rock (the dramatic limestone monolith rising 380 metres from the sea, one of the most photographed natural features of the Balearics) visible to the south-west. The Café del Mar sunset tradition (the institution that defined ambient sunset music in the 1980s-90s) made the bay internationally famous.
The Ibicenco pantry is distinct from the Mallorcan tradition. Sal de Ibiza — the historic salt pans of Ses Salines (south of Ibiza Town) produce one of the world's most premium sea salts, hand-harvested since the Phoenician period. Hierbas Ibicencas — the herbal liqueur of Ibiza, made by macerating local herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage, fennel, juniper, citrus zest) in aniseed spirit. Vins de la Terra Eivissa — the small Ibicenco wine production from the indigenous Monastrell-related varieties. Sofrit pagès (peasant stew with lamb, chicken and sobrasada). Bullit de peix (fish stew). Flaó (the Ibicenco cheesecake with fresh sheep cheese, mint and aniseed). Sobrasada Ibicenca (similar to Mallorcan but distinct). Fresh fish from local Ibiza boats. Specialty providers handle the international-festival catering scale.
Yachting season runs May through October with sharp peaks July-August. Sant Antoni suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning, with tender delivery to yachts anchored off Es Vedrà and the Cala Salada/Bassa coast.
