ACI Marina Cres sits in the town of Cres on the long Cres-Lošinj island chain in the Kvarner Gulf, with 50 superyacht berths in the natural harbour beneath the Venetian-era walls. Cres is the second-largest Croatian island (and the longest), with a sparse, wild interior preserved as one of the last European habitats of the griffon vulture. The town's atmosphere is markedly authentic — fishing-village Venetian-Croatian, with limited resort development.
The Cres pantry is small-island Kvarner. Cres olive oil is one of Croatia's most highly regarded — the island's old groves (some of the oldest cultivated olive trees in Europe, with documented age over 1,600 years) produce a distinctive intense oil under DOP protection. Cres lamb — the island's free-range sheep that graze on aromatic herbs in the karst interior produce one of the Mediterranean's most distinctive lamb traditions, also under designation. Kvarner scampi from the surrounding waters. Wines: Žlahtina di Krk crossover, plus broader Croatian. Fresh fish from local Cres boats. Specialty providers handle the small-scale on-island sourcing alongside mainland supply via ferry from Rijeka.
Yachting season runs May through September. Cres suppliers handle same-day on fresh items and 24 to 48 hours on full provisioning, with tender delivery to anchorages around Cres and onward to Lošinj (the southern island, the more polished tourism destination).
